Unofficial Events

During the SAC 2026 competition, we will have unofficial events such as:

• Mirror (Mirror Cube)
• Kilominx
• FTO (Octahedron)
• Team Blind (3x3 blind in pairs)

Requirements to participate

Be registered in the official SAC 2026 Bogotá competition
Have a WCA ID
Register by May 28 using the form at the end of this tab. Each category will have a maximum of 40 participants (competitors). Spots will be assigned according to registration order (20 spots). Participation lists will be published on this page on May 31, 2026.

Participation format

Each competitor or team must appear at the indicated time in the corresponding area. Bringing your own judge is required. To avoid interference with official categories, unofficial categories will be held in time slots, during which solves can be done at any moment. Once the time slot ends, there will be no further opportunity to participate. The top 10 participants or teams will advance to the final rounds.

Results of unofficial events

All times for unofficial events will be published on the Cubing Contest website.

Capacity

Each unofficial category will have a limit of 40 competitors; for Team Blind, 20 teams. If the limit is reached, a waiting list will be enabled for the unofficial categories.
